Night Bloom Tees inspired by the breathtaking and fleeting beauty of things that flourish in the dark, hand printed with illustrations of Luna Moth and Nicotiana Flowers. As the days grow shorter, I wanted to capture the Nicotiana flowers growing in my garden, a bloom with a subtle yet incredibly complex jasmine scent that kept me out at night and perfumed my house all summer. She is still out there blooming, and I am soaking up each morning I come out and still can see the brilliant white blooms poking their heads out. Paired with the Luna Moths, a creature that spends most of its life cycle growing before transforming into the gorgeous moths for a mere week at most, this drawing is a reminder of the cycles we are a part of, wherever we put our efforts, there is a time for rest and surrender just as surely as there is a time for life and long summer days.
