This slip gives a nod to elements of the natural world that embody strength and vulnerability at once, and the idea that it’s sometimes necessary to shed our skin and be vulnerable in order to grow. The print calls on the symbolism of a snake shedding its skin, a process also called "Ecdysis."
A simple slip dress printed with dye. This slip is made from a medium-weight hemp stretch jersey, and unevenly dyed with pomegranate rinds and iron. Each slip is one of a kind, dyed and printed individually, so slight variations in color and print placement will occur. Printed with water based pigment.
I have two size small slips available and both are a shortened version of the original length slips. From the top of the shoulder to the bottom hem is about 31 inches.
See the sizing tab for info on measurements, and please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions about specific measurements regarding these slips!
